Nightmares come to life for Ralph Roberts. Up all night, he's seeing some pretty strange things. No wonder he can't get back to sleep. Readers won't be able to either....More
Better than average King
I hadn't read this in a while. To be honest, my devotion to all things King petered out with Misery (shlock, Mr. King, really). But something about the beauty possible in aging drew me back. Some excellent characters (Old Dor is the best) and an intriguing look into hyper-reality don't completely excuse the rambling, overly-verbose descriptions (blue aura - got it!). Overall, a good read. The ebook, however, is a hot mess! Grammatical errors, misspellings (Deny for Derry), missing spaces - hard to ignore and harder to put up with as the story progresses. I like to suspend disbelief whilst reading and that's difficult to do when these road blocks are thrown up. iTunes, if you're going to demand top dollar, you had best deliver top product!...More

This book offers nothing to redeem its weaknesses, which are many and egregious enough to leave a bad taste in the mind of even ardent King fans. Steer clear....More
