Please note that Flightradar24 only can track aircraft equipped with an ADS-B transponder. The exception is in the US and Canada where we get radar data from the FAA and can track almost all planes, but with a five-minute delay. Visit for more information about ADS-B and Flightradar24’s coverage.

Save your money and buy the iPad version

This desktop version ought to have at least as many features as the dinky iPad app, right? Not so. The iPad version has better maps and has a 3D view capability that lets you see what it might look like to be in the cockpit as the plane flies, including take-offs and landings. (Positions of the planes are estimated, so there are frequent shifts in the position and altitutde of the planes.)
I will continue using the iPad version of FlightRadar24, but will ignore this desktop version until it has been updated with better maps and 3D views.

Pathing is Needed

Seeing flight in real-time is fine, but it would be SO EASY to add a function to show the PATHS of aircraft. Just draw a line from data-point to data-point. I have done this myself in my own software, but if implemented in THIS App, it would be great. And PLEASE let me record flight-path data as an image (every x minutes, or over a 10-hour period). Just lines for the flightpaths – THAT will make this a great app.

Dont waste your money fot this APP

This app will make my Macbook Pro very hot and might make the system slow.
and cant search the flight sometime.
if u want this app, buy iPhone or ipad ver.
