It’s alright...

I love Tweetbot! There’s just a few things that I would enjoy having. With videos, theres no way of seeing your progress in the video. Also, the menu bar is very inconsistent with whether or not it wants to show up. Also, when it comes to the activity section, I find it kind of weird on how when I press one of the activity items, it opens the person who liked/retweeted/mentioned’s account, and doesn’t show the tweet. Also, when I want to see who liked the tweet, it shows Favstar, and not who actually liked the tweet. I wish there was a way to turn that off, that would be fantastic. It’s doable without, but those features would be god-sent if they existed. Great app, I’ve bought it twice on iPhone and now on my Mac. Just a tiny bit more until it’s engraved in greatness.

I’ve been using Tweetbot for Mac for years and, while I can’t say it keeps getting better, it is a solid appliations. Often, it’s behind with Twitter features (sure as polls) but overall, Tweetbot seems to be designed for power users. The mute feature is powerful as is the ability to mute clients, such as Twitter ad bots. In short, I refused to use any other Twitter client. If Tweetbot were to suddenly disappear off the face of the earth, my time at Twitter will end.

Awful design. Doesn’t have a dark mode. If a tweet has more than one image, you have to open each individually instead of being able to scroll through them. Can’t see how many retweets or faves a tweet has until you click on it. Videos don’t have a time bar. Some links won’t open in browsers. Awful awful design. Can’t believe I spent money on this. Every twitter desktop client is trash, but this one was expensive trash. Twitter is trash.
